MA International Relations

With a rise in global conflicts and with forced migration at all time historic highs, it is evident that the events from one part of the world can have a direct or indirect impact in another. Whether we like it or not, international relations are part of our everyday lives and cannot be ignored.

Over the course of your degree you’ll begin to unpack and analyze a number of complex issues in international relations including world politics, international affairs, globalization, the media and economic growth. You’ll also be given the chance to study and analyze the legal, historical and socioeconomic elements of international relations.

Many students choose to study all or part of the MA International Relations in one of Webster’s campuses across the world. With the program offered in London, Switzerland, China and Thailand, you’ll have numerous options regarding where you want to study. All scholars are also subject matter experts and have worked as policymakers and practitioners in the field.

MA Media Communications

Webster’s MA in Media Communications is uniquely designed for students who want to study the ways that society use the media to communicate ideas. The degree also explores the relationship between technology and shifting cultures and how the media and communication impact upon all aspects of our lives. Key areas such as the impacts upon government, business and society will be looked at in more detail.

Throughout their degree, students will learn how media is produced and researched and will also explore a range subjects such as political communication and propaganda. Some of the specific courses on offer include Media and Culture, Media Organization and Regulations, International Communications and Media Production Management.

For students looking to expand their horizons, classes can be taken from Webster’s numerous campuses around the world including Bangkok, Leiden, London or Geneva. There are also flexible study options available such as online and part-time study.
