BA International Relations
Webster’s BA International Relations helps students to develop a critical analysis of why countries act the way they do. It is also aimed to provide an understanding of the relationships that exist between international institutions, governments, companies and individuals.
This degree combines politics, history and foreign languages to give students a comprehensive understanding of the international system. Classes can be taken either face-to-face or online and include subjects such as political theory, international law, international organizations and diplomatic history. Similar to other Webster degrees, classes are kept small to ensure individualized instruction and personalized learning.
In addition to classroom study, faculty and staff at Webster Thailand encourage students to participate in the formal internship program. This gives students a valuable opportunity to get first-hand experience in the field and open their mind to the various job prospects open to them after graduation. It’ll also undoubtedly give them ‘the edge’ they require when interviewing for that crucial first job.
Former graduates of Webster Thailand’s BA International Relations have found employment in a wide range of areas across the world. Many work for governments, the Foreign Service, law firms, multi-national organizations and the not-for-profit sector. Others have gone on to utilize their language skills to work as translators with the United Nations, IOM and other regional formations.
